If you would like to make ‘My Crazy Heart’ or ‘A Stitch in Time’ they are available on my website:

I’m pleased to have them back as ‘Shabby Chic Hearts’ normally hangs over our bed & I’ve missed it!!!

Just a chance thing really, Linda, a regular on the Quilting DownUnder list I belong to, asked if there was anyone out there with original stitchery quilt projects. Linda was planning on writing an article about Aussie quilters who use stitchery. I had a few projects & decided to email pics off to Linda to see if they might suit. They did, so being the queen of ufo’s I set about finishing two of them off. Then I headed down to Melbourne to do some house hunting when an email came through, could the quilts be sent immediately. Uh oh, well I finished them but didn’t quite get the labels on them.  Luckily dh stayed home so he got to find them pack them up & organise courier pick up. There were quite a few ladies involved & we all filled in a questionnaire about how we do our stitcheries. Linda put together an article & voila we are in print. This is the first, & probably the last time, I’ll have my work in an American mag & it feels good.

New Blog Background!!!

I finally worked out how to change from the boring grey I had & it was so easy!!! There is a link in the top left corner to the source. There are some lovely backgrounds, all free, with step-by-step instructions to put them on your blog.

I'm so glad this stitchery article worked out for you! It really was nice how it came together. I appreciate everyone's willingness to work with me on it, and especially to take the DARE to mail your quilts to the US for photography. So glad these quilts are back where they belong. Thanks for everything.

Thanks Jenny & Jenny.
Our projects have a 'same' feel to them don't they? Yours is lovely. I love brights but felt very drawn to the lovely floral fabrics that started to appear & I really wanted something soft & pretty for the bedroom.
cheers, Jan
